Civil liability is a person’s obligation to repair any damage or loss inflicted on another person, by an action or omission involving the person or someone they are responsible for, in which there has been some sort of fault or negligence.
Civil liability attempts to make reparations, which consists of establishing the balance that existed between the assets of the person who caused the damage and the assets of the victim prior to the damage.
